1974   L48 350 Vette

My first Vette.  Purchased from Vista (now Jet) Chevrolet in Federal Way, WA.  Rolled this car near Redondo, Washington in the summer of 1983. You know that problem with Vette brakes getting air in the lines?  I was late in replacing the calipers, and the roll occurred because I hit the brakes going around a corner, and the pedal disappeared on me! Pemco insurance treated me fairly on the total, and I kept the hulk.  Later sold the remains for approx. $2500. Ironically, latter, after I'd owned the '74 454 Vette, I thought I'd like to have power windows in it.  I went to the Corvette swap meet at Puyallup Fairgrounds, and there was what was left of this car, for sale, including the power window stuff.  So, I bought the power window gear!  I never did install those power windows in the 454 car.  I may have that stuff stashed someplace still.  I also have a couple pieces of broken fiberglass from it somewhere too!
